Cross or burn?

Saw "The International" last night, with Clive Owen and Naomi Watts.  I liked it a lot.  For an action picture, the screenplay dialogue was well written with several memorable lines/scenes. 

Like this exchange:  

"C'mon!  Knowing the truth demands responsibility!"

"Exactly.  That's why we dread it."

Yeah.  I get that one.

Another that particularly stuck in my head was this:

"Sometimes you have to know which bridges to cross...

and which ones to burn."

"I'm the one you burn."

Hm.

Anyone else smelling smoke here?
