But, it's not like Ernie's Fresh-Daily Donuts & Liquor Mart - it's classy. Check out this light and crispy Lemon Creme Fruit Tart in a Lavender Meringue. It tasted even better than it looked. :) The meringue was perfect; light, crispy, and melted in your mouth, with an ever-so-delicate hint of lavender that did not at all contend with the filling.
Actually, the menu was designed around pairings: an exotic dessert with an exotic cocktail (fine wines also available for the discerning. Me, I paired my dessert above with a fume' blanc. Good call.)
Yes, by day, it's a Cupcake place, suitable for children. But by night, it gets all swank and grown-up.
