bedtime

.

leaves flutter to ground
like clothes from a lover's back
trees getting naked

grab that snow blanket
and take those pretty leaves off
almost time for bed

Ahhhhh mental images mental images-dude I am trying to meet you halfway here- you know, keeping tabs on ya, etc., But this kind of stuff makes it difficult. Sheesh, adult swim gives a warning of adult material. If you'll excuse me, I have to soak my brain in hydrochloric acid now. I don't think I'll understand when I'm older. ;-) N*joy ur retreat.

Hey! I'm just talking about snow and trees and leaves, here. Your own mind is filling in the rest. :P

To deal with disturbing mental images... you must look within yourself, grasshopper.

Just imagine reading this in graffiti script scrawled on some warehouse wall... you'd have thought differently about it.

As I'm learning in grad school, meaning derives from the complex interplay of authorial intent and reader contextualization. It's only when author and reader share the same background context assumptions that meaning is relatively simple. You and I, well... we share some, but not others. :)

BTW, isn't it time for you to post something on yours?
